Pearl Certification seeks an articulate, innovative, and organized B2B and B2C Content Manager to plan, write, edit, and manage copy, data, and assets. This position will also be responsible for promoting content through email, social media, and other marketing channels.

About Pearl Certification: Pearl is a national firm that provides third-party certification of high-performing homes: homes that are healthy, comfortable, resilient, and energy efficient. Pearl’s certification drives demand for these improvements by capturing their value for resale and appraisal. Pearl will transform the residential market by certifying 10% of the U.S. housing stock by 2030.

Pearl qualifies a network of contractors that improve homes’ performance, and real estate professionals that ensure these homes are properly marketed and valued when sold. When marketed correctly, Pearl Certified homes can add 5% or more to a home’s sale price.

The Ideal candidate is skilled and comfortable with:

  • Writing, editing, and proofreading content in a range of styles and voices
  • Working closely with the marketing/communications team to devise a content strategy that aligns with the company's wider goals
  • Formulating a cross-platform content strategy
  • Brainstorming with team members to develop new ideas
  • Providing editorial, creative and technical support to team members
  • Managing and disseminating content across all platforms, including email, social media, and website
  • Tracking web, social and email analytics to ascertain content engagement levels
  • Editing, creating, and organizing all collateral and assets
  • Keeping up to date with industry best practices
  • Organizing and managing newsletter production
  • Juggling many tasks and working on a tight timeline

Responsibilities:

  • Act as the global editor
  • Write entertaining and informative search engine optimized copy
  • Target keywords set by the online marketing manager and basing articles around them
  • Assist the Pearl team with ad-hoc copywriting
  • Compile 6-12 segmented newsletters a month
  • Oversee Salesforce and email drip campaign integration
  • Set up, write, and monitor drip campaigns and newsletters - compile 6-12 segmented emails a month
  • Manage all collateral assets, internally and for the Pearl customer portal (designer requests, Pearl Collateral grid, Customer Portal in App)
  • Coordinate story development and circulation
  • Social media - schedule posts, maintain boosts, reviews and analyzes email and social analytics

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, marketing, communications, or journalism
  • Highly articulate with an excellent command of written English
  • Creative mind with an ability to conceive interesting ideas for new content
  • 3 - 5 years working as a content manager or copywriter
  • Team player - great interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of online marketing
  • 2+ years automating drip campaigns and working with necessary software
  • 3 - 5 years hands-on experience with social media management

Preferences:

  • 3+ years experience as a community manager or similar role
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community KPIs
  • Ability to interpret website traffic and analytics
  • 3+ years of Salesforce experience
